EZ Money mandates that every employee exercise infection control practices at all times. This includes regular hand washing, coughing and sneezing etiquette, and tissue usage and proper disposal.

For example, all employees are trained to cover their noses and mouths with a tissue when they cough or sneeze, then dispose of the tissue properly.

 

Then, of course, we’ll clean our hands after coughing or sneezing with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

 

Our Suggestion:

Anyone can follow these practices to minimize the spread of germs. In the event you find yourself without a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hand. Then, make sure you’re washing those hands regularly, too.

 

How We Wash Our Hands

Did you know there’s a proper way to wash your hands? According to the CDC, you’ll want to wet your hands, then lather with soap. Remember to cover the backs of your hands, under your fingernails, and between your fingers, too. Scrub for 20 seconds. Then rinse clean and dry.

 

Employee Health is Our Top Priority

The good health of our employees and customers remains paramount. In fact, we encourage our sick employees to stay at home. At the same time, we discourage team members from using other employees’ phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment.

We also work dutifully to keep work surfaces, telephones, computer equipment, and other frequently touched surfaces and office equipment clean. So, if you drop by one of our stores, you may find us busy disinfecting and cleaning away.

 

What If an Employee Falls Sick?

An employee who begins to show symptoms will be required to stay home to minimize the spread of the pandemic. In order to return to work, the team member must remain symptom free a specified time, without use of medication, before returning to work.
